陈鸣远,号鹤峰,又号石霞山人,清康熙年间宜兴紫砂名艺人,是几百年来壶艺和精品成就很高的名手。其出生于紫砂世家,所制茶具、雅玩达数十种,无不精美绝伦,开创了壶体镌刻诗铭之风,署款以刻铭和印章并用,款式健雅,有盛唐风格,作品名孚中外,当时有“海外竞求鸣远碟”之说,对紫砂陶艺发展史建立了卓越功勋。
